With over 60'000 votes the "Desmodus Draculae" wins the second Community Creature Vote! In the next week the concept and the dossier for the new inhabitant of ARK will be presented. Watch out! In the Ice Wyvern Gorge and Cave there are massive holes in the map, in which you "fall through" and die. Currently, therefore, do not build anything in this area and refrain from other explorations (at least not without a flying animal). Problem is reported to Wildcard.

Most of the creatures I've encountered here have survived thanks to their size, strength or ferocity. But the fjord goshawk manages with its wits and by scavenging. The bird also seems to have an almost supernatural ability to anticipate and avoid danger. The Fjordhawk tracks predators (and survivors) from above, waiting for the moment when it can strike and grab an easy meal.
Welcome to ARK: The Survival Stories! This is the first of many, and it's also my first time doing something like this. The survival stories follow the direct records of the survivors of ARK, as I try to show exactly what happened.
This tool provides its own user interface for visualizing ARK save files and is based on existing open-source work for analyzing save files.
The foundation was originally ark-tools (Java) in combination with the ark-savegame-toolkit, which outputs save data as JSON. This led to the idea of presenting the information clearly in a master/detail view.
